The rooms were cozy and just right, and the hotel itself is lovely. It was a little too warm when we arrived in winter because the heating was turned all the way up, but that was easy to sort out. Villalonga is right in the town centre, which also makes a handy base for exploring La Safor by car, whether you fancy mountain walks or a trip to the sea.

Quiet, comfortable, and full of character, with rooms decorated in an authentic style. The hotel is in a lovely location and worth a detour. The host and staff speak English too!

The staff at reception were attentive and helpful, and we had a lovely stay in a beautiful hotel. Once we'd found the car park, everything felt relaxed. A glass of wine and a beer in the courtyard cost €5.75, which seemed reasonable. For our anniversary dinner, though, we hoped to take our time. We had to scan a QR code for the menu, and the waitress was very patient with us, but our Spanish wasn't good enough to understand her explanation. A paper menu might help guests who are less comfortable with the technology. The food was very nice and the three courses were only €27, but we were finished and out within an hour, so dinner felt rushed. We didn't have breakfast, though it looked very tasty.

Such a beautiful, out-of-the-way spot, with wonderful staff and food, plus good wine. I was surprised to find such delicious vegetarian choices at a restaurant in Spain. It's probably the best vegetarian meal I've had in the Spanish countryside so far.
