Tere and Lito are wonderful hosts. They help with everything and make you feel at home. This was our second stay, and we definitely plan to return. The rooms are large, quiet, and very clean, and the bathrooms are fine. There's a lovely garden and two saltwater pools: one is quite deep, while the other is ideal for younger children. Shared facilities include a barbecue, refrigerators, a microwave, and kitchenware, which came in handy for storing snacks and other things while travelling with children. You'll need a car to get around, but the location is central. La Lanzada and Portonovo are only a few minutes away by car. There's a bar across the street serving breakfast and lunch, plus a restaurant close enough to walk to. We hope to come back for years to come.

The owner was very friendly, and our room was spotlessly clean. There are enough sun loungers for guests, with a small pool and some shady spots.

We spent a couple of nights here and couldn't get any rest. The room was unbearably hot. At night, their "penguin" heater sounded like an airplane engine was running inside, so sleeping was impossible. Opening the window for fresh air didn't help because the road right outside had a lot of traffic. When we arrived, there were no towels in the room. We asked the owner, who said she thought the cleaning lady couldn't have forgotten them, then added, "I think it could happen to anyone." The next day, used towels were brought in without us asking, and clean ones were missing again. We asked politely, but the owner flew into a rage and practically accused us of having the towels ourselves. I invited her to come in and see for herself. We eventually gave up trying to talk to her because she loses her temper, and I didn't want that unpleasant scene during a holiday when I was trying to relax. The pool and location were the only good parts. Such a shame.

We hadn't booked this hostel. After a problem with our original hotel, we were moved here for three nights at the end of August, and it turned out to be a stroke of luck. Tere and her husband are delightful. They're always checking that you're comfortable, and whatever the time, they'll greet you kindly and make you feel at home. We had a one-year-old with us, and they went out of their way to make us comfortable and give our child a suitable room. They certainly managed it. The common areas are great. The rooms are lovely and very clean, with private bathrooms and large beds. By car, it's close to the main attractions. I've not stayed in such a great hostel or been treated so well in a long time. For months we've been recommending it to everyone we know who's visited the area. When we can get away to La Lanzada again, it'll be our first choice. Highly recommended, you won't regret going.
