I had an amazing time in San Martín os Trevejo.

Trevejo is tiny and beautiful, and catching the sunrise and sunset there without crowds was priceless. It’s such a peaceful place to switch off. Villamiel is nearby too, with a well-stocked supermarket, a lovely bakery, a pharmacy, and other essentials. We spent a few days in the Sierra de Gata last September and chose the Lagarteiru apartment at A Fala. I’m so glad we did. It was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with a great bed, whirlpool tub, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, local guides, TV with Chromecast, Wi-Fi, and more. We did miss having a washing machine, though we understand there isn’t much space. Nacho was kind and helpful from the time we booked, and a fantastic host throughout. We’re sure we’ll return to the Sierra de Gata someday. Whenever we do, Apartamentos A Fala will be our first choice.

We had a lovely few days in peaceful surroundings. Waking up to nothing but birdsong was wonderful, and we’ll definitely come back. We’re a couple with a 9-year-old daughter, and stayed in the Mañegu apartment in Trevejo. It had everything we needed. Downstairs was a roomy open-plan living and kitchen area with a sofa bed and fireplace. We didn’t need the fireplace, since there was heating. The small-looking kitchen was well supplied, with a microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, plenty of cutlery, a chopping board, and even a washing machine. Upstairs there was a bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub and a bedroom with a double bed. The skylight let in lots of light, and at night we could look at the stars, or in our case, the moon.

Nacho was really friendly, and the apartment was clean, lovely, and well equipped. A great spot for a weekend away to unwind and enjoy a simple, natural setting.

We brought our dog and had a wonderful stay. Nacho pointed us to places we could take him and even left out food and water bowls, a blanket, and a can of wet food. The apartment was roomy, comfortable, and very well equipped, with everything we needed. We felt at home, and I’d happily stay again! ✌🏼
