Roca Nevada Suites

The apartment was spacious, with a big fridge, coffee maker and a great patio. We also really liked the bar and its terrace. A few small things would have helped: the shower was a bit small, screen doors could keep out flies and mosquitoes, and it would have been great to have salt, oil, coffee and a roll of kitchen paper in the kitchen. The rest was amazing.

The rooms are large, and the mountain views are lovely. Good location.

The location is wonderful, and the apartment had the little things you need for a stay. I can see why people would like it in winter, but as a summer stopover it wasn’t the best. The place felt a bit tired, with broken floor tiles and cupboard doors, and there was no way to cool it except by opening the windows. It could do with an update, though the local area is lovely.

This was my second visit, and I liked it even more than the first. The terrace bar and restaurant next door are great, the private off-road parking is handy, and the apartment rooms are well equipped. It’s nice to have a washing machine mid-holiday. Staff don’t speak much English, but we managed, and it was nice to be immersed in Spanish away from the truly international, read English-speaking, tourism. Bring food and drinks for the night unless you plan to use the bar, café or restaurants next door.
