Dinner and a night at this hostel made for an unbeatable stay. The food was excellent and really high quality, and the staff created such a welcoming atmosphere that we felt right at home. Service was incredible from the start. Luis, our waiter, deserves a special mention: he worked nonstop from the moment we arrived and kept an exemplary attitude the whole time. Next time I'm in Villanueva de Córdoba, I'll feel practically obligated to stop by, enjoy the food again, and thank them for the excellent service. Highly recommended.

The restaurant right across the street is decent, with a good balance of quality and price. The hostel itself was very old, with outdated furniture, poor maintenance, and narrow beds. We paid €80 a night without breakfast, which wasn't worth it. They took advantage of the price increase during the Pedroches Ham Festival in Villanueva de Córdoba, when there are few places to stay in town, and doubled their usual rate.
