La Casa Del Corro

We were sorry the weather didn't cooperate, since the garden and pool looked wonderful. Inside, the bedrooms are great and each has its own bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a huge table where everyone can eat together. Fantastic house.

The bedrooms were spacious, each with a bathroom, and there was a large kitchen and living room with enough kitchenware. Outside, Casa del Corro has a lovely setting and a big area with lawn, a saltwater pool, and a bar with tables for covered meals and a barbecue. We spent the weekend there with friends and our children, and otherwise had a great stay. The two things that kept me from giving it more stars were cleanliness and the owner's visit. The towels were spotless, but the sheets didn't smell fresh. The house seemed to have had only a quick clean, despite being used by different people every week: the coffee maker still had water and pink residue in its tank, and old grounds in the filter. One bathroom also had a tangle of hair left by the previous person who showered. With children and guests constantly coming and going, cleanliness should be a priority. Also, while we were renting the house, the owner came into both the house and garden without telling us in advance. She shouldn't enter while it's rented.

The large terrace would work well for an event, and the place seems suited to any time of year, whether you're celebrating or just unwinding. The service was unbeatable, and the house is spacious, comfortable, and well looked after. It's in a special area, with plenty of charm and tasteful decor. The pool was still to come, but even so, I couldn't ask for more. I'd say the price is affordable too.

It's a small town with just one bar, but Medina de Rioseco is only 5 km away, with restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, and whatever else you might need. The house itself is very pleasant, with lots of space on the property. The kitchen is large, and every room has its own bathroom.
