Those lamb chops were mostly bones, and I couldn’t find any meat on them. They weren’t even tasty, so paying that much to suck on bones felt like a waste. I’d had the same meats they served as a starter on bread from Lidl before. Maybe Lidl’s meat is just really good, or the restaurant went cheap. The place had been recommended to us, but with all the obnoxious wasps and prices that felt steep for the middle of nowhere, we skipped dessert to avoid more disappointment. I’d choose McDonald’s instead.

We stayed at Hotel Rural Paloma during a bike tour, and they kindly let us store our bikes. The staff were lovely and helpful, and spoke English. Our room was clean, and the property has a beautiful lawn, a covered patio, and a pool. Dinner was excellent, with homemade pasta and delicious pastries. We loved our stay and would recommend the hotel if you’re in the area.

We stopped here on the way from Seville to Granada. The small hotel is tucked just off the main road, so it’s peaceful and pleasant. Our room was comfortable and had a lovely view. The food was fantastic at both dinner and breakfast.

The owners run this place themselves and really make you feel welcome. They speak English well and are happy to accommodate every wish. We stayed three nights and enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast was fresh and had plenty of variety, and the restaurant serves homemade pasta, local specialties, and lots of vegetarian choices. Highly recommend!
