We've been back twice because we love the village and the scenery around it. The Casa has everything you'd need, and the views are beautiful.

We placed an order for 8 burgers, 2 portions of croquettes, 2 portions of fries, and wings. They were out of half the items, but didn't tell us until an hour later, and didn't seem bothered. A disgrace.

We visited over Christmas with five adults and three kids. The house stayed at a lovely temperature, even a little too warm for sleeping with the down comforters on every bed. The upstairs bedrooms have stunning mountain views, and two open onto terraces. The fireplace worked perfectly without smoking. It's a cozy place rather than a luxurious one, but the furnishings, cleanliness, and amenities were all excellent. The owner was incredibly kind. She greeted us with delicious quince jelly, then brought us a bottle of local wine and a bottle of champagne. Villanueva del Conde is a great base for mountain excursions and hiking in this beautiful area. We highly recommend the rural house and will definitely be back.

We spent New Year's Eve here, but the cold made it a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. One girl got sick because her room was so, so cold. In winter, the owner, Manuela, switches off the heating overnight and also from 10 am to 4 pm during the day. We asked her to keep it on all night on New Year's Eve. She said it would stay on until 3 am, but that wasn't true. The house is quite nice and the rooms are spacious, but I would NOT recommend staying here in winter.
