La Casa de los Arribes

We really enjoyed staying in this peaceful, beautiful rural setting. The country house has a pool and garden and is fully equipped. There are activities like pottery, making homemade jams, winemaking, and cheesemaking. The locals are passionate about the area, and the hosts are always on hand with help and information about the region. Highly recommend.

My little one had a fantastic time with the animals, and we got to enjoy a few days close to nature. The experience was even better than we expected. The owner was a wonderful host, sending activity information before we arrived so we could fit more in. The house was very well looked after, with comfortable rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a patio with sun loungers and a hammock. Nothing had been overlooked.

Victor had the house warm and ready when we arrived on Friday night. He’d also left us a fantastic loaf of bread, muffins, and lovely local wine. We rented the larger three-bedroom house, which was cozy and rustic, with a fully equipped kitchen and fireplace. The common area had baskets for logs, kindling, and firelighters. The shared patio for the three cottages is a little oasis, with tasteful outdoor furniture and a pool, though it was closed for the season. The village is very quiet, with about 50 inhabitants, and everyone was lovely. Pets are welcome. The terrible downpours and storms spoiled our long weekend, but there’s so much to see and do nearby that we’ll definitely return.

We were very comfortable and loved our stay. The owners were always kind and attentive, and both the house and garden are beautifully kept. We’ll definitely come back if we can.
