Everything was clean and thoughtfully set up for weary Camino pilgrims. Lena was so kind and helped us with whatever we needed. The place is full of character, beautifully maintained and tastefully renovated. Really welcoming, definitely 5 stars!

Lina was extremely helpful and kind. She showed us where to wash our clothes and even offered to drive us into the nearby town for dinner, since food wasn’t available in Villares de Orbigo at the time. The room was clean, the single beds were comfortable, and we felt refreshed when we set off the next day. The lovely Albergue is just outside busy Hospital de Orbigo, Spain, right on the Camino Santiago de la Compostela (Frances) route. Thanks, Lina!

After a day walking the Camino, this was a lovely spot to unwind. I especially enjoyed the sun trap garden, the delicious home-cooked supper, and the great showers and comfortable beds. A really nice place to relax.

Lina went above and beyond to keep everyone at the albergue happy. The atmosphere was great, and the building is beautiful. A fantastic stay!

After a long, hot day of walking, we needed somewhere peaceful to relax, and this had just the right feel. There was plenty of shade, and the hammocks alone made it worthwhile. The owner and staff were friendly, and everything was very clean. It’s in a great spot, only steps from an equally great bar.
