El Sueño de Lucrecia

Gabriel was friendly and always ready to help, which added a lot to our stay. We were a large group and felt comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and a bathroom in each one. The house is well placed for sightseeing, and there’s plenty of room to gather, including a dining room, lounge, play area, and a large inner patio with a barbecue. If we come back to the area, we’d stay here again.

The town is lovely, and the people there are friendly and pleasant. It’s also well placed for visiting nearby towns such as Toledo, Ocaña, Chinchón, and Aranjuez. We had a real pleasure meeting and spending time with the owner, who was attentive and thoughtful. He even left us homemade pastries for breakfast, and they were spectacular. For a group, the common spaces are a real plus: there’s a large, well-equipped industrial kitchen and a comfortable patio with a barbecue. The rooms are roomy, cozy, well equipped, and soundproofed, with different atmospheres, private bathrooms, and TVs. The house is a great place to share with friends. 100% recommended for a stay.

Gabriel, the owner, gives you a tour and talks about life at El Sueño de Lucrecia. The cottage is nicely decorated, and you can park nearby. His wife makes divine cakes for guests, and the room service staff are very friendly and kind. My room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, private bathroom, reversible air conditioning, and a television. The rural cottage is pleasant and well located. If you want a complete change of scenery away from the city bustle, this place offers that. It can also be a good starting point for exploring some of this self-sufficiency, if time allows. I highly recommend it.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and handled the minor issues we mentioned in a professional way. It’s a wonderful country house with all kinds of amenities. We’ll likely come back.
