8/10
Right in historic Villena, this family-run boutique hotel puts Atalya Castle, the moors and Christian museum, plazas, churches, cafes and restaurants just a few minutes away on foot. The owner was welcoming and helpful, and I thought it was good value, especially for the location. It’s a traditional Spanish hotel, with a clean room, a comfortable bed and an ensuite shower room. The bathroom could use a little updating.

Pilar was a lovely host, and breakfast was excellent. There’s a special feel to the place, and I slept well and felt at ease. I’d strongly recommend it.

A charming place to stay in Villena, with spacious rooms and ensuite facilities. A small fridge would be a useful addition.

The location in the center of Villena’s historic town was great, and the accommodation was lovely and very quiet.

In the old part of town, this is a nice place with a feel that’s different from a typical hotel.
