Getting checked in took about 30 minutes. The one receptionist had to handle paperwork for all five of us, and every person staying had to fill in forms and provide a passport. It felt unnecessary and took a long time. Our rental van ended up stuck in the pedestrian zone and blocking people, since you have to cross it to reach the hotel parking. The check-in process needs a lot of improvement. Apart from that, everything was great. The accommodation was clean and well located for getting around the whole city. There were two bathrooms, which was excellent for our group of four or more, and the lobby and elevators were modern.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I don’t want others to waste their time and money here. The bathroom constantly smelled strongly of sewage. It was disgusting and made the room uncomfortable, unbearable at times. Basic hygiene and professionalism clearly weren’t being taken seriously. The invoice was another major problem. I needed a correct one for work and asked five separate times, but every version they sent was wrong. That showed a serious lack of organization, responsibility, and respect for guests. Communication was slow and unhelpful, and after trying several times, I got the impression they simply didn’t care. I won’t stay here again. There are plenty of better places in Spain, and I’d strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The location was great and good value for the money. Some of the towels were dirty, and the hallway felt a bit creepy. It was okay for one night, but I wouldn’t really want to stay longer.

Using my phone to unlock both the main entrance and the room was a feature I really liked. The location was handy too, with a supermarket right next door and others about a 5-15 minute walk away. I needed some time to figure out the appliances, especially the Beko washer-dryer. After a drying cycle, its door wouldn't open, and I had to wait an unknown amount of time. I read the manual on the website, but it still felt like a safety concern. I asked for a one-hour late checkout, but they couldn't accommodate it. I may add more later if I remember anything. 😁

We really liked where Libere Vitoria is. It made for a lovely, restful stay, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of Vitoria City.
