With a room looking out over the Sea of ​​Biscay, it's hard to stay unhappy for long. Hotel Dolu❤️sa❤️ is a lovely base for exploring Galicia, and Do, Lu, and Sa, the three kids who run it, are very friendly. The price is fair, and for a four-star place it's very clean and everything is in order. Some work could bring it up to five stars, though that costs money. We’ll definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Viveiro. The owner was very friendly, and our room at the back was quite quiet. We paid €45 a night on a Friday in July after finding no reasonably priced places and deciding to give it a try. From outside, the hotel and stairs look old and unrenovated, but inside the room was a pleasant surprise: mostly new furniture, a beach view, a renovated bathroom with a new shower and toilet, and it was very, very clean. The rooms are very “vintage,” and the elevator is scary. Wi-Fi only reaches the reception, and mobile data barely works. There are no “Do Not Disturb” signs, so the cleaning staff knock on every door. Keep the window closed if you don't want mosquitoes and other insects around while you sleep, even if it's hot.

We booked a double room for Good Friday a week ahead at €40. When we arrived, the man said he must have got the date wrong and only had a single room left, now priced at €50. He even suggested that if we were thin, we could sleep in a 105cm bed. He has absolutely no shame, and I don't think anyone should stay at his hostel.
