Hotel U Viveiro

Room 203 was nice, with a river view, comfortable bed, great bathroom, and the extra pillows and tea kettle we requested. We paid extra for the view. The hotel was quiet when we stayed in early November, and its location is handy for nearby bars and restaurants. The reception and lobby felt small, dark, and unwelcoming, though the staff were pleasant. Free public parking is about 400m away beside the Gadis supermarket. There is a bar terrace on the waterside. If you go to sleep before midnight with the window open, noise from it may disturb you. In the morning, the noise starts again at 07:30 as tables are moved and the bar gets ready for business.

The rooms feel newly done and modern, with thoughtful details, like an ottoman that's just the right height for putting on shoes. Every member of the front desk staff I've spoken to has been fantastic. The hotel bar next door gets lively around 20:00 if you want a quick bite before dinner. 💯 I'd stay here again. 👉 Attached pics

Our fifth-floor junior suite had a 180 degree view over the sea and town, and a big, comfortable 2x2m bed. The room was neat, welcoming, and well decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a parking house right next to the hotel and a handy drop-off zone out front. Breakfast was good quality rather than a big spread. The hotel is beside the small city, with shops including a pharmacy and food stores. Very pleased.

Lovely location. I only had a glass of red wine, and the second one was good because it wasn't from the fridge. I don't understand why the first red wine was chilled. I didn't stay, so I can't comment on the rooms.
