We loved being able to walk straight out to the coastal promenade, which took us past cafés and bars toward the marina and beyond. The sea view from the villa was lovely, with mountains behind us in the other direction, and we could watch the water sparkle. Outside, there was a big pool, a bubbling jacuzzi, cushioned loungers, shade and a table for meals. Inside was bright, spacious and clean, with everything we needed and a welcome pack to get us started. The showers were great, one bathroom had a luxurious bath, and the air conditioning worked in every room. We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and there was plenty of closet space plus a safe. Patio doors from the main bedroom and the lounge-kitchen opened onto the rear area. We stayed for a week at Hoopoe Villas in Playa Blanca. It’s in a quiet residential area with a taxi rank and bus into town, though we hired a car. Laura met us and showed us around. Entry is secure and requires a code. We can’t recommend the villa highly enough.

The resort’s pool and the villa were kept immaculate by the cleaning and maintenance staff, and Lauren checked in regularly throughout our stay to make sure everything was as we expected. She was excellent. We had three generations together, with three families of different ages, and the villa worked really well for us. It exceeded what we expected, even compared with top-level Center Parcs UK villas. Playa Blanca was around a 30-minute walk along a lovely, well-kept seafront promenade. There’s shopping, places to eat and a beach to relax on. We hired a car for the trip, which made it easy to get around the island, and Auto Reisen gave us great service and value. We spent Christmas and New Year at Hoopoe Villas in Playa Blanca. The villa and its gated resort made for a memorable festive break. I’d happily recommend staying here, and thanks to all the staff for making it so enjoyable.

Watching the sunset over the sea and cruise ships from the villa was a highlight, and we could step just outside to catch the sunrise too. The pool was a good size and heated, which was especially welcome for the younger children. We spent two weeks here with family over Christmas and New Year. The villa was quiet, clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a welcome pack of basic supplies. It had everything we needed, including a coffee machine, washer, dryer, dishwasher and air conditioning in every room. The management team were lovely and available whenever we needed help, and daily cleaning was done to a high standard. There’s a taxi service and bus stop nearby, though we’d recommend having a car. We’d definitely stay again. Five stars!

We had a lovely Easter week in this beautiful villa. The pool was heated, there was plenty of outdoor seating and space, and we enjoyed the peaceful setting and views. It’s about a 30-minute walk along the promenade to restaurants and bars. Staff were available around the clock, and the villa was cleaned daily. We’ll be back.

Royal Elite was a fabulous villa. The welcome pack was extensive, and the location, service and security were all excellent. There’s a 24-hour reception too. Nothing to fault.
