Casa Las 3 Conchas I

We had a good stay in this cozy house. The sofa could be more comfortable, but everything else was great. The service was good too, with friendly, cordial communication over WhatsApp.

Isabel, who handles the keys, was friendly and attentive, and the house itself was well equipped, with heating in every room. The kitchen and bathroom had what we needed, and pets are allowed without an extra charge. There is a short staircase inside, but it is very steep, so keep that in mind if traveling with older people. The village was the harder part for us. There was very little open, hardly anyone out, and not much to see. You also have to leave the car some distance away because the street is too narrow for parking. Carrying luggage up the hills to the house was exhausting. I’d say it makes sense if you’re coming to hike in the mountains. For a relaxing stay or to experience a lively, different village, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The village is beautiful and well worth the stay. The accommodation is small, but cozy, and the woman cleaning the house was very kind. Having a washing machine with detergent and fabric softener was a real bonus, since few places provide all that. Parking is explained clearly by the owner. There’s always a spot, though you do have to walk a little and go over a few hills, haha. We loved our stay and will definitely come back soon. Thanks for having us!

The bedrooms are upstairs, reached by a very steep staircase that could be a serious difficulty for older guests. There is a sofa bed on the ground floor, though we didn’t use it. Apart from that, the apartment was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. We stayed December 10-15, 2021, and the electric heating kept the whole house very warm. Street parking is hard because the road is narrow. The owner had warned me and suggested the free public lot about 300 meters away. We unloaded first on Calle del Agua, at the fork toward the apartment, without driving down the apartment’s street, then parked in the lot. Before arriving, I called the number I’d been given; a very kind woman met me and showed me around. They also gave me a code I could have used to open the mailbox by the entrance where the keys are left. It’s a very handy place to set off on mountain hikes. We’ll be back.
