The people running this family business are lovely, and the atmosphere is warm. The views are amazing too. I’d come back whenever I get the chance. Oh, and they have a great dog, Chase. You’ll fall in love with him!

The view is stunning all day, and you’re only 20 min from Bilbao. It’s a really nice hacienda with beautiful rooms and a great breakfast. José is so attentive, serving homemade cakes and dishes.

The owner doesn’t really speak English, and I don’t speak Spanish, but we managed to get by. It’s a really lovely hotel, and the breakfast was great.

If you’re a pilgrim, reserve ahead! This gorgeous baserri is lovely inside and out, with very comfortable rooms, thoughtful art and decor, and kind staff. Cafes and restaurants, Zalla town, and Bolunburu nature area are an easy walk away. This was my 2nd visit, and I’ll happily stay again!
