We ended up moving somewhere else in a rush on Saturday night because staying there had become impossible. With two children along, we were left without heat because the boiler had broken, and nobody offered a practical fix. The house was at 12 degrees Celsius, and the windows were open when we arrived. Antonio and Monica ignored our calls all day; Monica didn't reply to WhatsApp either, and I had to get Booking.com involved to reach them. Their only suggestion was a YouTube video so we could try repairing it ourselves, which made it seem like they didn't want to pay for an emergency plumber. There was damp on the living room ceiling and the cleaning was poor, including rotten lettuce in a kitchen cupboard. I took photos of everything. It was a horrible weekend and we couldn't enjoy it at all.
