Hotel Cesaraugusta

For a basic hotel, it had very little in the room: no fridge, no iron, nothing. The AC is a nice thing to have in summer, but the pillows were the thinnest and hardest, and gave us terrible neck pain. I wouldn't consider this a three-star hotel.

The room was really clean, so thumbs up to the cleaning staff. The breakfast buffet was good too, with hot food, bread, and lots of cake. But if you want to sleep, don't choose this hotel. The walls are paper thin; you hear everything, from people walking in the hallway to people loudly at it for hours in the next room. The window shades didn't work, so we couldn't darken the room to sleep. The shower head holder was broken and had been badly "fixed" before. Staff were kind, but English isn't really spoken here.

The friendly person at the front desk was the only good part. As soon as I entered, there was a strong, sickening smell of cheap rose-scented cleaning products. It was unbearable, so I opened the window right away and left it open all night. The nauseating smell still clung to the room and my clothes. On top of that, the air conditioner was noisy, and I could hear screaming children next door through the paper-thin walls, so sleeping was impossible. The harsh, cold white fluorescent light everywhere was awful too. I deeply regret staying here.

The underground parking was brilliant, and breakfast was sufficient. The location is good, about a 20-minute walk to the old town and everything there. The rooms have no soundproofing, though, and housekeeping woke us each morning.
