The staff were really friendly, and the place was clean. It’s also just a few metres from the Basilica del Pilar. Wi-Fi was the downside, the signal was terrible. We paid 25 euros for a double room without a bathroom; a private bathroom would have cost 30 euros.

For a hostel, the room was decent, and the location is right in the centre. The receptionist was professional, friendly and always ready to help with what I needed. Great value for the price, and the Wi-Fi was very good too.

The staff member who checked me in was very kind. My check-out experience was the opposite. I bought something to take with me in my suitcase since I was leaving that day, but the receptionist shouted that eating in the room wasn't allowed. I explained it was for the suitcase, not to eat there. Then I asked whether visitors were allowed, and he shouted at me and spoke disrespectfully for asking. That treatment, along with what else I saw, was enough for me. Even though the price was good, I won't stay at this hostel again.

I ended up paying for a night I never stayed. I arrived a bit later than expected, but the owner wouldn't even open the door, so I was left to find somewhere else myself. He was arrogant and, in my view, rather stupid. He could have charged me extra for being late instead of leaving me without a place to stay.
