Sabinas El Pilar

The kitchen had everything, including a full-size fridge freezer, four-ring hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffee percolator, teapot, and even a couple of dishwasher tablets. TVs in both the lounge and bedroom. It's a decent size and comfortable, and the location is amazing, right opposite Basilica El Pilar. Absolutely excellent. Couldn't fault it, highly recommended.

I gave up and booked somewhere else. The website was awkward to use, with several clicks needed to find each accommodation's size. Prices were almost impossible to dig out, the descriptions vague, and full of far too much fluff. This is about my attempt to get information before booking.

The view from the window of the Basilica of the Pilar is beautiful, and it’s such an iconic piece of Zaragoza architecture. We also found the kitchen handy for cooking, with a supermarket within walking distance, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and welcoming, and really tried to help with anything they could. Highly recommended for the location and the service.

The staff were especially helpful and offered more than I’ve seen at many other places. We stayed one night and found everything very clean, with a spacious bathroom and good quality fittings. The mattress was firm but comfortable, and the hotel is right in the main part of town. We’d happily return and recommend it. If you’re driving and need parking, ask ahead since they have a few options. I used their underground parking opposite their other hotel, Hotel Source, just around the corner. You have to check in there first. The spaces are tight, and I was on the lowest, third level. It’s steep and twisty, so having someone guide you up and down helps. If you’re not confident behind the wheel or have a larger car, choose one of the other options.
