The rooftop pool was a welcome break in the heat, and after that we could relax in a quiet apartment with AC and good blackout blinds. It reached about 41C each day, which we're used to in summer at home. We were glad there was a washing machine too, since this was our last stop before two hotel stays and the flight home. We stayed four nights in Zaragoza, the second of five old towns we visited on a rental-car trip. We'd already been to Spain five times since 2008, but not to these towns. The apartment sits above an underground car park, with easy walks to the river, market, gardens, historic and cultural sights, and restaurants. Staff were excellent, including booking a nearby restaurant that only accepted phone reservations while we were out on a day trip. After check-in we mentioned three small problems, and maintenance had them sorted early the next morning. Great value for money.

We had a roomy three-bedroom apartment for two nights in June, with space for four adults and two kids. The beds were comfortable, the receptionist was helpful and friendly, and we could walk to plenty of sights and places to eat. The Basilica was about 10 minutes away, and Aljaferia Palace about 20. Parking in the basement costs €20 a night. You need to ask for a kettle and kitchen bits such as a knife if you want them. I was surprised that staff wouldn't make the beds if there were clothes on them, and they left a note to explain why.

We were able to park in the building before check-in, leave our bags, and keep the car there after check-out. Parking is only 20 per night. The apartment was spotless, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the location is excellent. A top-quality place, and we'd definitely come back. Highly recommend it.

The reception staff are kind, professional, and really nice. The breakfast team was great too. Breakfast is simple and doesn't have much choice, but it was fresh and clean. The room cleaning has been a big letdown. I've been here 15 days, with another 15 to go, and the rooms are old. Cleaners only make the bed; they haven't properly cleaned the room. The floor is dusty, and the sheets weren't changed until I complained. The little kitchen and table are so dusty you can write your name on them. They only replace the towels and don't clean the toilet. For such a long stay, basic cleaning should happen daily or at least regularly. This is very disappointing.
