Good value, clean and modern.

For the price and location, I can recommend it, but the customer service and the care taken with room conditions are quite poor. I stay here every week for work and have had countless problems: no shower gel, no dishwasher, no towels twice, and, this last time, a room code for a room left exactly as the previous guests had left it. When I called, their response was appalling. They seemed not to care at all.

I found check-in really practical: communication over WhatsApp was seamless, and they sent the access codes straight to my phone. The room was spacious, clean and functional, with a sofa bed that easily fits two children. The hotel sits in a quiet, clean neighborhood just minutes from the highway, so it's well located for a night on the road. I'd recommend it as an overnight stop.

The place itself was just okay, nothing special. The beds had practically no pillows, the kitchen had no oven (heating a pizza is basic, people!), and the bathroom was tiny but adequate. I don't think we'll be back. What really sticks with me is how little humanity or understanding the Polo Rooms administrators showed us. We'd booked some time ago because we planned to visit the haunted castle of Trigueros del Valle, and it seemed affordable for what we wanted. Then our daughter and both of us got sick just before the dates we'd chosen. We'd already missed the change or cancellation deadline, so we asked Polo Rooms to move the booking. They told us to contact Booking.com, and we did. Booking.com said it was no problem and that they'd email the Polo Rooms administrators with new dates. After that, we called Polo Rooms again using the phone number we'd provided, and got a firm no. So we made the three-hour drive from Asturias during a brief break in our illness. We found sheets covered in vomit, dirty floors and tissues everywhere. We'll remember this trip for the lack of humanity and understanding from the POLO ROOMS managers. I hope they never find themselves in the same situation.
