We’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely return. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and both of ours had ocean views. It’s a short walk to the beach, with bars and restaurants in the other direction. There’s a bit of a hill on the way down and back, but it’s worth it. Cheers, Melanie and Peter.

After five weeks in Spain and stays at lots of different places, Hotel Flysch was easily our favorite. The bed was big and really comfortable, and that walk-in shower was awesome. Service was excellent and the location is great, with the beach super close. We’ll definitely come back next time we visit the beach.

Just a five-minute walk from the fantastic, one-of-a-kind Itzurun Beach, the location is excellent. We also loved the beautiful breakfast area, with its real Flysch walls. The rooms are simple, cozy, and well equipped. This hotel has a special charm, whether it’s the lovely staff or the simple style and attention to detail.

The room and bathroom were both spacious, with a large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, and the views were lovely. There’s a wall heater in the bathroom that you can plug in. Parking in the garage below felt secure. Follow the hotel’s directions to get there, as Google Maps isn’t much help.

We picked this family-run hotel at random in 2017-07, since most places nearby were fully booked. What a lucky find. The staff were lovely and clearly wanted us to feel welcome. Our room was modern, spotless, and finished to a high standard, with a big bed and a large modern bathroom. The value for money was really good, and it exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was excellent, and the attentive staff were happy to bring anything we felt was missing. This was easily our best hotel experience on our trip around northern Spain. We’ll definitely come back.
