Golden Tulip Addis Ababa

We stayed in the Presidential Suite, and it was spacious, quiet, and soundproof. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the WiFi stayed strong and reliable, and everything felt up to date. The decor throughout the hotel was beautiful, just like the photos, and the location made it easy to walk to what we needed. Staff were warm and accommodating, even letting us check out late because our flight was in the evening. Room service was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

The access road is the main drawback for me. It's very narrow, so shuttles have a hard time maneuvering. Inside, the rooms are very neat, and I liked being able to watch my Premier League team on Super Sport, which many hotels don't offer. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and professional. As a foreign national, you may need time to get used to the food, though breakfast is consistently good. Golden Tulip is a nice place to stay and one I'd recommend in Addis.

I had a great time here. The rooms are among the best I've seen in the city, and the staff really pay attention to what guests need. Everyone was warm and welcoming, especially Mizani.

Our family stayed at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Addis in June 2025, and the staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Gugsa deserves special mention for his professionalism and kindness. He helped plan our visit and made sure everything went smoothly and that we were comfortable throughout. The General Manager was also polite, attentive, and very helpful. I can't remember her name, but she personally checked on us. We enjoyed the restaurant at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with fresh, flavorful food and a good range of choices for different tastes and occasions. The rooms were clean, and we left with lovely memories. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended for a trip to Ethiopia.
