I stayed at Magnolia Hotel in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, from February 9th through 17th, 2026, and it was such a pleasant visit. The room was clean and peaceful, and above what I expected. The location was perfect for me. Everyone, from the managers to the janitors and guards, was professional and hospitable. I’d recommend this hotel to others, and thank you all for making my stay so nice.

The staff were polite and friendly, check-in was easy, and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable too, and the TV, A.C. and bathroom were all good. Breakfast and lunch were delicious, but dinner wasn’t great. We were placed at Magnolia Hotel for an overnight stay during a long layover. It’s close to the airport and well located, though it looks dated and could use some renovations. It took ages for hot water to come through in the shower, which felt like a waste. A good hotel overall.

It’s nearly 11 and I still can’t take a shower. I asked both the cleaner and reception for soap, but there’s none. There are no towels in the toilets either. No one tells you when you enter the room that you have to turn on the TV to get the Wi-Fi. The food is not great, and it doesn’t seem fresh, like it’s been microwaved several times. The baked potatoes are hard to eat. I’ve been asking for soap here for years. Please revise your notebook.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were outstanding, always friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed, and they really made our vacation special. The reception manager is amazing. Highly recommended!
