I've stayed here five times while travelling around Ethiopia, and each visit has been a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good, and all the staff are welcoming and very helpful. It's a nice hotel in Bole, close to the airport, with a convenient transfer.

The 24-hour airport shuttle is complimentary, and guests say the staff are helpful with currency exchange and last-minute travel changes. In the 22 Mazoria business district, this 4-star boutique hotel is known for warm service and a focus on wellness. The spa offers a Moroccan Hamam bath along with treatments such as deep-tissue massages and facials. Guests also recommend the steam room and sauna after a flight. For evenings, Gabi Bar on the rooftop has wide city views, live music, and a DJ. There's also a spot by the entrance for a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Dining includes two restaurants, one with an open-plan kitchen, serving local and international dishes. Reviewers praise the vegan breakfast choices and traditional Injera. The 48 rooms have soundproofing, rainfall showers, and high-pressure water. Many also have a separate living area and a balcony overlooking the city.

I spent more than 10 days at the Triple-e Hotel and Spa and was very satisfied with my stay. Breakfast, fitness, and Spa service were all good, and the food was delicious, freshly prepared, with plenty of choices. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable and clean too. I liked the attractive, inspiring corridors on each floor. Gabi Bar and lounge on the rooftop has live music and a great city view. I highly recommend Triple-e Hotel and Spa for the service, cleanliness, and charming surroundings.

When I checked out, staff immediately blamed me for a broken window without investigating. They questioned and accused me, and I felt mentally harassed over something I hadn't done. The window was already cracked when I checked in. I had noticed it while looking at several rooms, but chose that room because I liked it. One day, while I was sitting outside, I saw the housekeeping girls break it during cleaning. After they finished, I told reception, and staff came and cleaned it. They treated me like a criminal instead of a guest. Two female staff asked me to prove I hadn't broken the glass. I told them to call the police and investigate. Eventually management took responsibility and the matter was closed. There was no proof or apology, just humiliation. Management was rude, unprofessional, and shockingly insensitive. I felt unsafe and disrespected. The hotel lacks basic hospitality, decency, and common sense, and is highly unsafe for foreigners. This was the worst experience of my life at this so-called Triple E hotel and Spa. Avoid it unless you want to be mistreated, blamed for their negligence, and made to feel like garbage. Disgraceful.

The showers were blocked, so water came out like a tap instead of a smooth spray, and it took five minutes to warm up. The people were pleasant, but their English was difficult for us to understand. On the drive from the airport I worried we were being taken somewhere else to be robbed. The hotel is in the middle of a city that looks like a shanty town, and we were afraid to leave, so we stayed inside all day. The food portions were generous, but the food was spicy and nobody warned us. My kids couldn't finish their lunch leftovers for supper, and they didn't go to the restaurant that evening.
