Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa

We spent three nights in Executive room 911 with lounge access. The staff were very warm and welcoming, the hotel is well located, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional, with lots of variety. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the view was unobstructed, and the bathroom had both a shower and bathtub. A few things did detract from the stay. We waited 25 minutes for the hotel shuttle at the airport; in hindsight, I'd take a faster, more convenient taxi. The reception staff were pleasant but sometimes had trouble handling our requests, and on our last day there was no hot water. The business lounge was being renovated, so we couldn't use it even though access was part of our package. It would also be nice to have a coffee machine in an Executive room. We still had a pleasant stay, but this hotel felt a little below the Radisson Blu properties we're used to, and somewhat expensive for the service provided.

From check-in to the end of our stay, it was a lovely experience. Nardos recommended a room that got us a very early check-in, which was crucial, along with some nice perks. The bed and room were comfortable, and all the staff were warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, especially the Business Lounge team and the evening waitresses in the dining area, Yelge and her colleagues.

The reception staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a good-sized bed. The location was good, breakfast had a nice selection, and the waiters were really friendly. Well worth it. Thanks for the service.

Radisson Blu was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. Lidiya especially stood out: she was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. Her warmth made the visit even better. Highly recommended.
