South Gate Hotel Apartment

Getting to the hotel was tricky because the road was closed, making it hard to call a taxi or use Ride services. The restaurant also shuts quite early, which isn't convenient if you get back late. Otherwise, I had a great few days at Southgate Hotel and Apartment. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The reception staff were welcoming, polite, and always willing to help, especially Tigist Bekele and another woman whose name I can't remember. Biruk was kind and supportive too. Thanks to everyone for the excellent service. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for the clean rooms and friendly staff.

We walked into the room and left right away. The bed had hair on it, the sheets were stained, there was toothpaste on the sink and some strange gunk on the toilet seat. The appliances were broken too, and we noticed all this within five minutes. We didn't use the room, but the hotel refused to refund us, so we had to find somewhere else to stay.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the manager was a very gentle man. We had a memorable stay in a spacious, very clean room, with excellent hospitality for a reasonable price. There are six different room categories. South Gate Hotel Apartment is on a main road in the city center, close to the airport, restaurants, and a shopping complex. Definitely a great choice.

The rooms and washrooms are spacious, and the renovations are tasteful. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the rooftop restaurant has a wonderful view. The staff are warm and friendly. It's very close to the airport, with free pickup and drop-off. A bit of luxury on a budget.
