The price is good, I guess, and the owners and staff really are very nice. They helped us a lot and even gave us food after breakfast hours. But the rooms were awful: a really bad smell, especially on the first floor, insects, and so much noise. You could hear every step from upstairs, showers, and music from the guest house next door until 1 or 2 a.m. I don’t think it’s a family-friendly place. They have a lot of work to do.
Such a lovely guest house. It’s very clean, everything works, and the staff are super friendly and easy to deal with. Best guesthouse I’ve stayed in, five stars all around. I’ll definitely come back.
I went in September and October 2019, and I’m only getting around to writing this now. I absolutely loved the place. The staff were so friendly, and there are plenty of restaurants and tea houses nearby. You can get your bags brought to your room for a couple of dollars. Breakfast is in the dining area if you’re up in time. It was my first trip to Africa, and I’m looking forward to going back.
Decent place 👍, but the room was too cold and there’s no AC.
I stayed for 20 days. I’d give it an average of 3, sometimes 4. The room was clean, I liked it, and the price was good. Breakfast was included. A few things need work: the WiFi was strong in some rooms but weak and unstable in others, and the hot water kept fluctuating. The manager said he planned to improve the WiFi and fix the hot water. We also had electricity problems for a few days, but those were fully resolved through the manager’s efforts. I could see him trying to respond to guests’ requests, and things were improving. I plan to stay again in two months. If it’s gotten better, I’ll edit this to 4 out of 5.
