Yober Hotel

The photos on Google Maps make the rooms look pristine, but what I found at the hotel was very different. I ended up there because of an Ethiopian Airline delay, and the four-star rating is misleading. On the first floor, the Family room had worn chairs, and the hallway's unfinished floor was covered with carpet. There was a strong smell in the washrooms that I couldn't identify. The hotel kept losing power, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. The Family room on the seventh floor shouldn't have been open to guests at all.

The staff are kind, the room is clean, and the food is delicious.

I only came to Yober hotel because Ramada next to it was fully booked when I went to reception to extend my stay, so I had to check out. I found Yober hotel very clean, in a better location than Ramada, and the staff were very cooperative. Even if you turn up late for breakfast after it's closed, the kitchen staff will still cook for you and treat you like your mother. It's got what a customer wants: a clean room, helpful staff, a good location, and safety. I highly recommend it.

My flight was cancelled, so I arrived a day late for a four-day booking. They told me the room was no longer available and didn't give me a refund. There was nothing about that in the booking details or confirmation email. The management and customer service were utterly disappointing.
