The location was perfect, with a beautiful lake view from the window and an even better full city view from the rooftop terrace. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and the room was spotless and super comfortable. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were very friendly from start to finish. Customer service was even better than at some of the 5 star hotels in London. Honestly, one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. I'd highly recommend Naky Hotel if you want to have the best time at Bahir dar!

Naky hotel in Bahirdar, Amhara Region, Ethiopia was brand new, and everything we saw was clean and spotless. My fiancé and I stayed there for two days in 2026. We loved the food, and the traditional coffee was amazing. The receptionist in particular was very professional and helpful, and assisted us with everything we needed. The location is convenient, close to Tana lak, and there's an airport shuttle/taxi service in both directions. I'll definitely stay with my family on our next visit. If you come to Bahirdar, Naky Hotel will be your choice. Thank you. Three years earlier, in 2023, I also found Naky Hotels very clean, with great customer service. Thank you, Naky. You make me feel like home.

Everything in my room was new and clean, and it had all the things I needed. I stayed for one night and found the room very comfortable and welcoming. It faced Lake Tana, so I enjoyed the view of the lake and the boats selling all day.
