Housekeeping mistakenly gave my favourite shirt to another guest, and losing it had a very negative effect on me. There was no barrier or curtain in the shower, so water splashed all over the bathroom. It seems to have been designed by mistake. # Ethiopia # Bahir Dar

The cleaning ladies were creative, leaving everything spotless, shiny, and stylish. Staff were friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome. There were plenty of breakfast choices. My experience overall was perfect.

I’ve stayed here twice and tried the local food. The rooms and service were excellent, and the lake is only a short walk away. Breakfast was included, and there’s an automatic shuttle to and from the airport. One suggestion: ask for a room with AC, since not all rooms have it.

The service was friendly, the location central, and breakfast was good. Still, bugs in my room, curtains that didn’t cover the full windows, and almost constant street noise made it hard to settle in. The noise sounded like there was practically nothing between the street and the room. It was OK for a night.

The lake is close by, and the hotel sits right in the center. We had a very pleasant, safe stay, with spacious rooms, a good restaurant and a great breakfast. The staff were kind and helpful, and the service was very good.
