The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself is beautiful. After more than a week travelling around Europe, we needed to wash some clothes, but there’s no guest washing machine. I asked if I could use theirs for one load and was told it was only for the house staff.

Kilpisjarvi is such an amazing place, and Rakka hotel was a cosy, beautiful place to stay with fantastic staff. We had the best four days on a fabulous tour. The rooms and food were excellent, too. Many thanks to everyone at the hotel, you won’t be disappointed.

Seeing the northern lights through the full-size window from your own bed was the best part. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. A perfect experience.
