The best part was the food, both the taste and the work of the cook and rest of the staff. The place has real potential, but it feels like little effort has gone into it. The hotel itself is very simplified, with blocks of rooms, odd carpets, old damaged furniture, and small bathrooms. It has the feel of an abandoned hotel. There are no slippers or coffee in the room, and everything is either on demand or costs extra. It’s in the middle of nowhere, so for anything beyond walking you have to go to Espoo or Helsinki. The lake is nice, though nothing special if you’re already familiar with nature. There’s also a pool and sauna, but I didn’t use them. It’s surprising that people visit, but they do.

The food, service, and closeness to nature were all amazing, and we loved our stay 🥰. I think it’s kid-friendly too. The friends who recommended this hotel have been back more than once, and we had an amazing trip.

The hotel exterior looks like a bunker, even though the surrounding area is lush. It’s one of the ugliest hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms are okay, the staff are friendly, and the food is good.

I especially enjoyed the spa area. It’s a relaxing place, with facilities for ice bathing that made for a rejuvenating experience. The hotel is peaceful and comfortable, and the property was spotless throughout. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with plenty of fresh, flavorful choices. The staff were warm and professional. Kari stood out for being attentive and genuinely caring, which made the stay feel personal. The hotel also has spacious, well-equipped conference rooms, suited to productive work in a calm setting. It offers great value for the price given the comfort, service, and facilities. I recently had a wonderful stay here and would gladly recommend it for business or leisure. It’s a lovely place to unwind or get work done, and I’ll definitely return.

There’s plenty to do here, from hiking and swimming to enjoying the sauna. The hotel sits in a lovely setting, with forest and lakes just behind it.
