The rooms were elegant, the food delicious, and the service friendly. We loved the nostalgic atmosphere and how carefully everything was designed. It really feels like a vintage bathhouse, with no detail overlooked. A lovely stay, and a great pick if you’re after an Agatha Christie, Hercule Poirot kind of experience, minus the murder :).

Degerby is a charming little place, and the hotel sits right in the center. The decor is amazing, the staff are friendly, and breakfast was tasty, especially the best bread rolls I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the sauna building and jacuzzi, and borrowing bikes, kayaks, and SUP-boards was a great extra. One small letdown was dinner: my perch was tasty but pretty basic for the high price. Still, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at when you take the whole package into account.

We had a really lovely meal, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The shop is well worth a visit too. It was great hearing about the hotel plans, and I hope everything goes well!
