I had an unforgettable birthday celebration with friends at the villa, especially with the outdoor jacuzzi and its breathtaking view. The restaurant and food were both perfect, and the service was top-notch. I’d definitely recommend a visit, it’s suitable for all ages.

The setting at HavsVidden Resort is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the modern buildings feel thoughtfully designed. I especially liked the quiet, private spots in the two halls by reception. The pool and sauna sit up on a hill, with a view that felt like paradise. From the veranda exits by one hall and the restaurant, you can look out over the bay and sunset, and the benches on the seaside rocks are a special place to watch it. There’s also a 2.5 km nature trail marked with blue signs from the pier, through the forest and back. Free umbrellas are available if it rains, and I was glad cash was accepted. The meal was very good. The wiener sausages were tasty, the spaghetti was cooked just right, and the panna cotta was outstanding, especially with edible flowers you could actually eat. Tea and coffee were served well, and the fresh orange juice tasted good, though no one asked if I wanted ice. Our bill came to €41.80, which seemed fair for the quality and service. I noticed lots of thoughtful touches: hooks in the restroom for bags or clothes, easy access for people with limited mobility, a lift, separate toilets downstairs, two conference rooms, and a small kids’ playroom. The little gym with big windows is tucked away, and the helipad was a surprise that added a bit of luxury. There’s also a grill table near reception that looks great for gatherings. It’s best to book ahead. We couldn’t sit where we wanted, while guests who arrived after us were offered three seating choices, including the table we’d been told was reserved. We were also told the food would be ready in 10 minutes, but waited about 20. Still, it’s one of the coolest places I’ve visited lately, and I’d come back, maybe for the dessert and sunset.

Kalliotalo 16 was really good, with its own outdoor sauna building, and the quality of the stay was excellent. The area also has good roads for running. Food was tasty and well prepared. It’s an amazing place, and I highly recommend visiting.

The sea-side sauna was great, and breakfast was very good. The suite had a lovely ocean view, but no air conditioning, and the toilet tap sprayed water everywhere instead of working like a regular tap. Dinner was a letdown. My cod fillet portion was quite small and had no flavor, and after we complained, they offered no reimbursement. They even asked for a tip after the complaint. Service was very slow despite there being almost no other customers, and we had to ask to place our order before the restaurant closed.

The cottage/villa was lovely, with extraordinary views and a bathroom for each bedroom. Breakfast was very good, and lunch was decent, though the selection was limited. I didn’t try dinner. I had a pleasant stay and would love to return someday.
