For a short weekend in Helsinki, the apartment was quite nice, even if a little dated. It has Scandinavian simplicity and charm, and the fridge was clean, though we didn’t cook. Tram 4 stops just around the corner and goes to the city center. The bed was two twin beds pushed together, which is apparently typical in Finland, so sleep on your own side instead of in the middle. A tip for Americans: the bathroom outlet is in the light above the sink. Lift the little flap to plug in a hair dryer.

The flat is spacious and comfortable, with a tram stop just a few steps away. It’s in a lovely area among elegant Art Nouveau and Romantic Nationalist buildings. There aren’t many extras, though there is a laundry room in the building and a lift. The bathroom and shower could be nicer. Recommended.

A good choice if you need room to spread out, especially for an extended work stay. The apartment is much larger than a typical hotel room, with basic kitchen facilities, and the tram is nearby. The area is quiet and pleasant. It’s a bit dated and clearly well-used, but was very clean. Self-service check-in worked well.

Everything was tidy and I had no issues, and the price seemed reasonable. The apartment was cozy and fairly spacious, with a kitchen, fridge, table, shower, double bed, and TV. They’d also left complimentary coffee and tea.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with balconies and kitchens, more like full apartments than small hotel rooms. The price for what you get isn’t bad, and there’s a bus stop very close. But plan ahead for supplies: after 11pm the area feels completely dead, with no little shop, pharmacy, or anything else within more than 2km. The hotel has no restaurant, bar, shop, or even snack machine, and reception shuts at 7pm.
