Hiisi Homes Helsinki Sörnäinen

We arrived without check-in instructions, even though they were supposed to send them at least half an hour before check-in. I was at the airport with no idea how to get into the apartment, which made me anxious. After I messaged the host, the details came 20 minutes later, just as I was getting out of the taxi. Check-in itself wasn’t straightforward either. The apartment was stifling when we entered on a hot day. The main-room windows had no handles, apparently removed, and support couldn’t sort it out despite several messages. I eventually used a spoon to open one, which wasn’t locked too tightly. The other main window and both smaller ones stayed shut. There was water all over the bathroom floor when I turned on the sink. The cleaner had apparently left the bidet hose open, so water poured out and took us by surprise. We had to clean it up ourselves. Then the toilet tank wouldn’t refill after flushing. The host said it was broken and would send maintenance, but it was about 4 p.m. Friday and it wasn’t repaired until midday Monday. For almost four days, we had to fill a bin with water and pour it into the toilet to flush. They offered another apartment, but it was on the outskirts of Helsinki, which didn’t work for us. I can’t recommend Hiisi Homes & Hotels. The apartment had basic facilities that weren’t working, and the host was slow to deal with the problems. The window handles were never fixed at all.
