Hotel AX

The room was on the small side, but it was clean, quiet, and had a comfortable bed. I only missed having a closet. The breakfast was excellent, with a generous and varied spread. AX Hotel has a calm location with good connections to the city center. As soon as you walk in, the warm welcome and the art stand out. Every corner has objects and colors that give it a distinctive feel, and the staff were courteous. I definitely recommend it.

I stayed at AX in summer with my partner, and it was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. Malin at the front desk deserves a special thank you. She helped us sort out a major organizational issue that wasn’t really her responsibility, and did it with real kindness and generosity. The rooms were beautifully designed, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I came for work, and this is now my first choice for future work trips to Helsinki. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with their own distinctive style, and everything around the hotel has an artsy, positive feel. The reception and lounge seem like a dream coworking space for creatives. Great service, too.

The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is full of art. I liked that each room has its own concept, and all the details feel carefully chosen and designed.
