Hotel Indigo Helsinki - Boulevard by IHG

The staff at reception were kind and friendly, and we felt welcome right away. Breakfast was lovely too, with friendly service. Our beds were comfortable, and the shower was powerful. There’s a Nespresso machine in the room, which we appreciated. Disposable amenities are available if you ask, though we had brought our own. I only spotted the bedroom slippers five minutes before checkout, tucked inside the bathrobes we hadn’t used. They would’ve been handy since we take our shoes off indoors. The location is convenient for the Central station, South Harbour, Ekberg Cafe and other restaurants, so we didn’t have to go far to find food on a very cold day. We had a good stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

I’d come back to Helsinki just to stay here. The staff were the friendliest and most welcoming I’ve ever met, and the location was great. The room had everything I needed, and breakfast was stellar with great service.

I slept really well here, thanks to the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The rooms were clean and a good size, and the bathroom was impressively spacious, with the bath and shower nicely separated. Breakfast had tasty food and plenty of choice, and the staff were friendly and polite. The hotel is right in the city center, with a tram stop nearby, so getting around was easy. My only issue was the air conditioning. It struggled a bit, and the room felt too warm on autumn nights. Still, it was a very pleasant, comfortable stay with convenient access and good service.

There’s a nice sauna and steam room, with separate facilities for men and women. The hotel is pet-friendly and welcoming, though there’s a €30 fee, and the underground parking is good. If you have an IHG account, you can get late checkout at no charge.
