Inn Tourist Hostel

The rooms are clean, but very bare bones. There aren’t even hooks on the door for a towel, the curtains are sheer instead of blackout, there’s no AC, and the window opens right above the bed where your head would be. A few thoughtful touches would make a difference, but they’re missing here. The bigger issue was getting in. I booked through a booking site and never received the codes needed to access the lobby and reach the hostel. I spent 40 minutes looking around before finding an unlocked restaurant entrance. Staff were aware this was a problem but did nothing to make sure I had the access information. After a long travel day, I wanted somewhere quiet to unwind, not to wander around an abandoned office complex. The customer service was very poor.

The early check-in exception came only after I’d already canceled the room. Great timing. They advertise luggage storage, but there were no staff there before noon. Was I supposed to put off starting my trip until then? I’ve never had to repeat information so many times just to communicate with staff. When I didn’t answer right away after being told luggage could only be stored after noon, the man kept saying, “Hello?” My patience has limits. If I’d known I couldn’t actually leave my luggage before noon, I wouldn’t have booked. It feels like a scam, and I still haven’t received a full refund.

I needed an affordable room for a couple of nights while I got settled in a permanent apartment, and this worked out really well. The room and shared area were very clean, and the view from my window was really cool. I could walk to Market Square for lunch, too. The owner was very kind and even drove me and helped carry my suitcases to my permanent apartment. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Finding the entrance was a pain. There’s no sign, and I walked around the whole area for 30 minutes before spotting an entrance marked with a different name. You won’t get the access code unless you ask, and they don’t remind you that you need one to get in. Reply to the owner's comment: No, you didn’t send me anything before I called. I rang you at 7:00, and you sent the information at 7:02. How can you claim you sent it earlier that day and tell me I should have checked? Look at the photo I attached. That’s a complete lie and an unacceptable attitude. You won’t admit your mistake and instead blame the customer.
