Klaus K Hotel

A very nice hotel in central Helsinki. The rooms are small but perfectly equipped, and the ladies managing things seemed to be doing a great job from what we saw. Shampoo and other toiletries can be taken or topped up for free if you need them, which was new to me and a nice touch. Breakfast was good, with all the basics covered. There’s a Toscanini right in the hotel for steak, give it a try!

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of choice and really good coffee that wasn’t watered down. There’s also a handy coffee mix if you want more. The location is ideal, close to the rail and plenty of good restaurants. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Klaus K. The front desk was excellent and very accommodating. I arrived well before 3 PM, tired from jet lag, and they let me check in much earlier. My room was huge, spotless and comfortable, with a super hot shower and great Wi-Fi. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Helsinki.

We had a corner room, which gave us a little extra space, and the bed was clean and really comfortable. The room had nice amenities, and there are toiletries in the lobby if you’ve forgotten something. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Getting around was easy. A tram stops right outside Klaus K Hotel, and Esplanadi Park and Senate Square are a reasonable walk away. There are also lots of restaurants and bars nearby. We were very happy with our stay in Helsinki.

I spent four days here in December 2025, and my girlfriend was right to persuade me to book it. I’d been considering other places, but this turned out to be a 10/10 stay. The location felt safe, and I could walk everywhere. The breakfast had an enormous choice, especially salmon prepared in different ways, plus plenty of delicious local dishes. Reception staff were very polite, and there was free hot coffee all day, tea, and another local drink. I used the well-equipped gym every day, and the rooms were warm and cute. If a Greek friend is reading this, don’t overthink it, I’m telling you it’s perfect!
