The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped, and getting around was convenient: the bus stop was a four-minute walk away, the metro about nine minutes, and Lidl six minutes away. The check-in was the one drawback. We hadn’t been sent the entry code, so we had to call the service number for help. Then we had to provide some extra information, which took around 10-15 minutes. It felt more complicated than we expected.

I slept really well because the studio was so quiet. It was a lovely top-floor place with a kitchen area, and everything from the booking to the location was nice. The common spaces were a good extra, and the gym and sauna were awesome!

After checking out, I was charged another €100 for “additional cleaning.” I had vacuumed the whole apartment, taken out the rubbish, and wiped the tables and counters, but they documented tiny things I’d missed, like crumbs in the sink and a faucet I hadn’t wiped. Their stated policy is €200 for a minimum of two hours of cleaning. It seems that, in principle, they could charge that if you leave even one scrap of paper that wasn’t there when you arrived. The rooms are already cleaned periodically by the staff, so adding a fee for one more clean at the end feels like a shameless cash grab, especially given how expensive the apartment already is.

The room was warm and clean, and I really enjoyed staying there. The check-in number we received through booking.com was wrong. If I hadn’t had a friend living in Finland, I wouldn’t have been able to check in.

The check-in terminal seemed to be malfunctioning, so I had trouble creating my key card. I managed to finish the registration on another device, but it was still inconvenient.
