The staff made my early trip home much easier. They packed breakfast for me since my flight was too early for the regular service, and helped make sure I could get a taxi at 3:40 in the morning. I ordered one in the app and waited only a few minutes; staff also offered to arrange it. Earlier, they’d suggested places to see around Helsinki. I’d book here again. I spent three nights on a solo holiday, in a room in the historical part of the hotel. It had what I needed and was in a great spot for exploring, with taxis able to reach it quickly. There was a slight sewer smell in the bathroom at first, possibly because the shower hadn’t been used and the drain had dried out. It went away after I showered, though the staff could have sorted that before the next guest. The room was still a positive experience. There was some wear near the bed, and I’d have liked more power outlets or USB-C ports, but the one by the desk was enough to charge my devices.

I’ve made this my favourite place to stay in Helsinki and book here whenever I visit, mostly for the service. Everyone at the desk is so kind. I can’t remember the name of the older man at reception, but he’s always friendly, and if you’re reading this, it’s a pleasure to see you. Your kindness really spreads. The rooms are nice, though a bit old because the building itself is old. For me, when the staff and service are this good, the rest is easy to live with.

The breakfast buffet has a great range of fresh, tasty things, and the service is warm, professional and attentive every time I’ve stayed. I’ve been back several times, and the rooms have always been comfortable, elegant and beautiful. I’ll keep booking here for future visits. Highly recommended.

Everything important was close enough to walk to, which made getting around Helsinki easy. My room was clean, tidy and comfortable, and the breakfast had a great range of choices. I also enjoyed having the gym and sauna at the hotel. There was a small problem at check-in when staff couldn’t find my booking right away. They were very friendly and worked quickly to sort it out, so I came away with a good impression of their service. A lovely choice for a short business trip or a solo visit, and I’d gladly return.

The staff were gentle, and the breakfast was splendid. The rooms are well soundproofed and very quiet. I liked being able to set the air conditioning to 19 degrees, since it usually only goes down to 21. The sauna was okay, but it took a lot of effort to get it to 85 degrees, and it wouldn’t go any higher.
