There were lots of options nearby for a run, a coffee or beer, or just a walk. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and was more than enough. I also enjoyed the sauna with its lovely harbor view and the well-equipped fitness center. The location made things easy, with a tram stop close by for getting to the city center or railway station. A great stay in Helsinki, and I’d happily come back.

After 83 nights at UNITY Helsinki, my wife and I already miss the place and its lovely staff. We can’t think of a single thing they didn’t help us with, and Lira and Daria deserve a special mention. Right from arrival, we felt welcomed by the gift and handwritten note the staff had left for us. Highly, highly recommended.

The staff really made this place for me, and the location and public transport were great too. For the price, I wouldn’t go back to a regular hotel. A hotel-studio is my new top choice. Two small things to know: the rooftop bar is closed, though you can still get an amazing rooftop view from the sauna. The bed is a bit hard. I slept well, but some people may want to know that.

I especially liked the big window and getting to watch the sunset each evening. The sauna also had a lovely sea view. Everything was very clean and modern, and the price was excellent for what you get.

The kitchen worked well for simple meals, and the dishwasher was great. My studio was on the 6th floor and had a nice view. It’s not far from the center, either. I didn’t try the sauna, and it was a shame the rooftop bar is only open for professional events. Still, it was a great experience.
