A beautiful old wooden building, kept clean and comfortable. There’s no unnecessary luxury, but for the price it’s a great deal, especially if you just need a night’s stop on a road trip.

The homemade breakfast is good, and the porridge has been the best we’ve had so far. We’ve stopped at Gasthaus Iis several times while heading north to our cottage, usually arriving around 9 pm, and can still use the sauna after the long drive. We bring our small dog and have had no problems. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s a cheap stay, so don’t expect everything to be luxurious. It’s right by Road 4 and the Ii river.

It’s clean and peaceful, with services close enough to walk to, and parking in the yard. The hosts are friendly, and the younger generation is enthusiastically involved. A good basic guesthouse, with a simple breakfast that fills you up.

A small, cozy gasthaus with a really nice host. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast is basic and self-service, but good.

We slept well during our overnight stop on the way north. It’s an interesting place, with really good rooms and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast is self-service, but that worked fine.
