Shops and restaurants are about a 15-minute drive away, but this villa is a lovely, comfortable place to stay near the Finnish border. Everything was clean and well looked after, and the staff were friendly and flexible. A good affordable option for a visit to Imatra.

There’s a barbecue spot, you can fish for yourself, and if you have a boat, you can drive right down to the water. There’s also a parking space by the room. Our room was just 74 steps from the lake, a nice place for families to spend time by the water. The downside was all the little flies. With no window screens, we had to keep the windows closed. Still, it’s a very nice place.

The sunsets over the lake are amazing, and the place itself is beautiful. The owners deserve special thanks for the service, design, and the way they’ve arranged everything around the hotel. Highly recommend!

We had a roomy private apartment with a view over Imalanjarvi lake, surrounded by nature. So relaxing, with boating and fishing activities too. 😁
