I stayed at this guesthouse for two weeks and found it one of the best. It’s in an amazing spot, right by the train stop and Lidl supermarket. The rooms are very good and the beds super comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. Ms.Rita, the owner, is very kind. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly. I recommend it 100%.

For 49€ I got good value, and then some. I’d highly recommend it to budget travelers with reasonable expectations. I booked by phone that same evening and arrived late because of roadworks. The on-site janitor checked me in, and even offered me the shared sauna for free, though I was too tired after the long drive. The room was surprisingly good: old and worn, but generally clean, and everything worked. It had a fridge, sink with tap and TV. I had two neatly made beds and neatly folded towels of hotel quality, which was a surprise. Toilets and showers are along the corridor, and there’s a very small guest kitchen. Some rooms have their own toilet, shower and kitchenette, but cost more. The buildings look rough outside and have the same feel inside, with creaky floors and an odd mix of old furnishings. The other guests brought the experience down a bit. Russian and Estonian working men talked loudly in the corridor and made dinner in the kitchen in the middle of the night. There were strange smells from the next-door room, and a neighbour was smoking nearby, so I couldn’t leave the window open. That isn’t the business’s fault, but seems a natural side effect of being the cheapest accommodation in the area.

We booked a room, looked it over, then cancelled and found another hotel. 79 EUR for one night is far too much. I’d say 30-35 EUR a night would be the most it should cost, and it probably only deserves one star.

It’s a small room with a fridge, just as expected. The sound of trains coming and going is kind of soothing. You’ll likely keep the window open, but then bees get in. There’s a Lidl market about 500 meter away where they sell bug sprays.

Just right for a stop on a drive through. The breakfast was great, and everything was easy.
